Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and I have a question right away. A few weeks back I bought a solid axle 1988 Fourtrak. Originally it was one with the 4h button on the dash and vacuum actuation. Turns out the 4h button was rewired as a kill switch so I looked for some Infos about the tranny and found that there also was a model with manual 4h. On mine I did not find any solenoids, just some free plugs where they should be, also I found a picture of the diaphragm actuator on the forum here and mine looks very different, it just has what I think would be the switch for the dash light. I am guessing now that that would mean that my Fourtrak had a manual transferbox fitted, the odd thing is though that on the lever I only get to switch the 3 positions like on the vacuum box. Can anyone confirm by the picture if that is the manual transmission?
