Hi, I have a D2 for farm use only. It currently is sitting on 235/70/16 (alloy) but all the tyres are in poorish condition without a great deal of tread on them. This often leads to it struggling to get around. I was looking at some agri tyre options and wondered if 7.50/16's would fit on my rims? I have looked on line but can't find any answers.
Does anyone know if they would go straight on? Don't mind if I have to fit tubes.

Thanks
Paul

7.50-16's will not fit a RR Classic so can't see them fitting a D2, the biggest problem being rim width, they usually go 5-5.5 inch rims without bead humps on.Your only way to find out for sure is to try but the springs are nearly fubar you will have to attack the arches and take big lumps out of them, the rears more the front.Last time someone wanted a set of tractor tyres on a D2 he lifted by 2.5 inches and i got a set of 205/80R16 top capped with chevron pattern for him but was some time back. You will have to fit tubes but there is quite a lot of ag pattern now stamped tubeless, so you might be lucky.Good Luck.
