Hi,

Some months ago, I asked a question about the suitability of a Disco or RR for my wife's arthritic knees ... and then didn't come back. Something to do with my security code, and a keyboard that developed a mind of it's own ... you can't see what you've keyed and correct it, with passwords.

My remorse is such that I'd happily clean your boots ... only my tongue has run dry.

The present situation is that SWMBO is scheduled for a replacement knee (second one later?) in the middle of next month. That's her clutch knee, so an automatic is indicated, according to DVLA rules.

I cannot find the previous correspondence. If "whoever" can forgive me, I'd be grateful if they would come back to me, pretty please.

The words "Range Rover" came out of her mouth a couple of days ago, unprompted. (I'd prefer a Disco)

Fuel consumption is not a problem ... her Hyundai IX20, new 12 months ago, has clocked 3000 miles. Other overheads might be a consideration. it has to carry SWMBO, myself, three strapping off-spring, a wheelchair, and a Jack Russel. Disco jump-seats would have their advantages.

602

PS. I have a Jimny, which I love, but still regret having to sell my 1959 LR, 109, on a galv chassis ... it was too high for SWMBO to climb into.
