I have spoken to my insurance company any they don't have an issue as long as the MOT guy is happy it's built properly and passes without issue.

A bit more work today, the interior is almost complete except the wiring and sound proofing on the rear of the cab.

The body is taking shape, just need to do some more welding and cutting.

A bit more progress over the last few weeks, been sorting out the rear body and tailgate along with cleaning and repainting the chassis and tank mounts. I have bought the resin ply for the floor and cut all the aluminium for the sides, not sure if I should paint them body coloured or not. Thinking about galvanising the main frame and tailgate. i have made the body so it can be removed quickly, its mounted in a similar fashion to how roll bars mount.

It's starting to take shape. I have just ordered my lights and will make a harness up next along with doing all the anti-roll bar bushes etc.

Thanks for looking.

A bit more progress this weekend, rear body almost complete and all resin boards cut, off to the galvanisers this week. the head board now has 50mm mesh installed to protect the cab, the spare wheel mount will be used from the discovery and bolted to the frame at the front.

Started to paint when it was nice and warm and no wind, primer, filler primer and ran out of time to finish the top coat as my gun blocked up hence the patchyness, both guns fully cleaned and tested and I will get it done this weekend, flatten back and paint.

A bit of work required for the lights etc and it will be soon ready for the MOT.

Just got the log book back after months of DVLA ******* round, it's now properly registered as a pickup and two seater. Been using it all winter for all manner of jobs and it's spot on.
