Hi guys, some of you longer serving members might remember me from the dark side (Suzuki pages)

I’ve sort of got myself back into the off-roading after a few years off.... I’ve stumbled across a land rover disco 1 (1998) commercial which was kitted out to be driven over in South Africa so has “extra security” on the doors etc .... it’s just out of MOT and I really don’t think “we” have time to keep her running etc as we already have a disco 3... I can’t make up my mind, do I break her down and sell her off bit by bit (nice winch on her) or do I sell her as she is.... any thoughts etc would be very appreciated Very Happy

Thanks

Becci

That would depend on its overall condition to a certain extent. If it is solid underneath and generally mechanically sound why not intially advertise as is and see what happens.Or advertise it as a breaker and see what happens,i suggest before you do that you scour the ads to see what certain parts are worth, there is still call for engines,transmission/transfer box axles, lights etc and the winch is worth a fair sum on it's own.
Another thought why not see if your local garage will do a pre MOT on it, to see if there is anything seriously wrong and go from there.
