Hi all, I'm about to buy a 1.7td Isuzu engine and carlton gearbox for my samurai. At the moment it has the Vitara 1.6 8v G16A engine in it. My question is: I bought a s/h complete Vitara power assisted steering setup which I haven't fitted yet. Will I be able to fit this with the Isuzu engine it or will the pump not fit? I kinda wan't to go diesel and get rid of Carb setup but still want to go PAS too. Any thoughts?

Take the 2 different hoses to any hydraulic hose place and they can make a new hose for you. I have isuzu1.5td in sj413 with pas.
I have jimny power steering box. I vaguely recall having to shorten the column but it's simple if you drill out the plastic shear pins
I then measured the desired high pressure hose length and took the corsa hose and the jimny hose to a farm hose place and they made a new hose the desired length using the old jimny box end and corsa pump end.
