Hi i hope someone can help . The interior light works via the switch on the light , But not by the door switches , ive earthed them out still nothing , Light has all wires connected obviously as it works . The wire colours don't match any diagram ive found ? , there's 2 wires on the left door switch one on the drivers , I only want the drivers door to work it , Am i best running a wire from the lamp to the door switch ??? . there's a bit of corrosion on the lamp will that cause issues . I dont want to buy a new light and switches only to be where i am now .

The door switches just have the one feed wire to them. They are earthed to the body via the fixing screws in to the A post. As Winnet has said, you need to check if the switch is working with a multi meter. The copper does tarnish/corrode and prevent continuity. You can take the switch off and clean it up. If necessary, new ones are cheap.

Finally worked it out . It was the actual light unit , even though it looked ok . I tested with an old bulb holder and it worked , after hours .
Thanks to all for your help .
