Hi
just a quick question, got two new tyres ordered and need to know if to fit on front or rear, done internet search but most answers seem to be about cars and not 4x4 vehicles.
The vehicle in question is a Landover Discovery
thank you
Mouse.

I usually put new on the front as I figure braking and steering is more important. If i'm going to swap to even out wear I put the worst tyres on the front in the summer when you might expect less standing water.

They should go on the back, the theory is that a rear blowout is much more difficult to control as it invariably wants to put you into an oversteer situation, where as a front wheel blow out will send you into an understeer situation, which is easier to control.
Lots of tyre and vehicle manufacturers will tell you to fit them in 4's or a pair onto the rear also.
