The all-new SsangYong Musso will be hitting dealers next month, so read my comprehensive review now, including what it's like on-road, off-road and and that amazing warranty...

I like the interior and the carrying and towing capacity are great. Ground clearance looks a bit poor. I hope they keep doing the long one as that would be handy on a double cab. Just a shame it's so ugly and will probably have an awful residual... still for the price

With regards to the extended bed, I seem to recall hearing that come next year, whichever size is selling g better they're discontinue the other.
Personally I don't think it's 'that' ugly, but then I like Lightweights and 101's!

funny that.
when, years ago i was saying how good ssangyongs were i distinctly remember mr blertface on here telling me that they were crap.
despite him never having owned one, despite knowing noone that had owned one, his total knowledge was based on the fact that he had read a review, and he had once been behind one and it squeaked.
tell me mr blertface, how is land rovers seven year warranty coming along?

The military had a few when they couldn't get Fourtraks anymore, used on some airfields and Cyprus had a few, they sold them on, a lot went Asia via Oz, they liked them because mechanically they were bomb proof, once they waxoiled them the bodies stayed like new as well.
How are you doing?

brilliant thanks mate. still working for ocado.
the rexton lives on with simon allen, he`s whipped the engine out and is marrying it to a bmw box. combine that with bigger internals in the fuel pump and a massive turbo, should end up with a 350bhp merc lump to put into a custom buggy he`s building.
i swapped it with him for a massively tuned Bora, so i`m now going through my delayed boy racer phase.
0-60 in 6 seconds and 420nm of torque.
hows you doing?

Busy doing tyre tech stuff for a US tyre company, and a company called Titan who make tractor tyres and an oe tyre supplier who does military tyres.
All online, so quite easy other than going to see people when i need to.
