Well my current vitara has had enough. Nothing but problems since I went 1.9tdi and it's now knackered.

I'm getting another vitara so I can swap all my fancy bits over, however the new one will not have any mods.

My current one has a 2" bodylift along with a 3" suspension lift.

My question is if I fit the suspension ( Got 1.5" spacers as well) could I fit 285/75R16 tyres? I'm aware I would need to cut the arches out etc but I had to do that on my current one with a bodylift. I'd give imagine I would need to take some more?

Or do I just stop being lazy and do a bodylift on the new one? 2" or 3"?

Last thing, I'll be putting my rollcage across. Can I do this before a bodylift? Or will it get in the way?

Thanks

You will have to cut twice as much at least from the body to get 285/75-16's on, without a body lift. If you are fitting Insa or something similar then you will need to cut even more.

At least with fitting a body lift you'll find all the rusted out body mounts...
