I'd never driven a Qashqai before, so what did I think of my 20-minute 'flash-drive'?

I've had those and Jukes before as courtesy cars. None of them were 4x4, none of them were very exciting in terms of engine and handling and the styling was the typical eastern make it odd to make it stand out styling. I was stuck behind one this week as it just couldn't get out of the snowy car park. Even with my fuel eco tyres on the amarok I just drove out.
If it was my money pound for pound I would get the normal hatchback equivalent. The only advantage these have is you can see better in traffic on the motorway... unless your behind another quashqui / juke / white van.

Nissan have never lent me a car, and in truth it's never bothered me as they've never inspired me, except for the Patrol of course.
I would much rather have a CX-5 or the Sportage...

You used to be able to say that atleast they were reliable but now they're part Renault and parts sharing it seems you can even say that. They're popular though so what do I know
