got to ask; why would you want to bypass your cars security? and if you don't end up bypassing, and still own your vitara, why would you want how to do it posted all over the internet??

why not ask "how do I FIX my immobiliser" instead?

in the first thread you posted in someone says they plugged in a code reader and then got the actual fault repaired...it could well be easier/simpler/cheaper than bypassing it.

I have had a code reader on it it's showing no faults i have already spent a lot of money trying to fix whatever is wrong with it took it to the garage and they don't know eather Sad on the other post bypassing the immobiliser seems to fix it also I'm not too bothered about security as it is my off roader and is kept in a garage.

If you're talking about an aftermarket immobiliser, they are easy to bypass, just follow the wires back to whereever the installer cut the circuit. Last time I removed an insurance approved immobiliser took about 20 minutes! Unbelievably easy.

If you're on about the factory immobiliser, then I doubt it will solve your problems. And the factory immobiliser is integral to the ECU, so there's no "bypassing" it as such. And if it was the factory immobiliser it would flash up an error code.

Hello there. i have a year 2000 2.5 l Suzuki G.V, which cranks but will not fire after attempting to help someone with a jump start. The engine check light is flashing, and I'm pretty sure its the much discussed immobiliser problem. I have tried everything that I have seen suggested online but nothing works. Could some kind should please send me the info on how to bypass the immobiliser. I can't get to work until the thing is fixed so I would be very grateful. Thanks very much. Luke

Is the 2.0 the vitara the same engine as the Peugeot and Citroen in which case it may be worth a look at accessing the back of the fuel pump to bypass the fuel solenoid with a live feed or remove the plunger from it and see if it'll run then.

well if you do find a way round it please let me know too, my lwb diesel went the same way they all do, working fine then one day refused to start AA came looked connected a fault code reader which came up with the message
"anti start in operation" its never moved since, personally I think its a sales ploy by Suzuki to sell more vitaras as when they reach this age they are become immobile lol
