Well where to start, the wife had a terios a few years ago and I liked it but funds and work ment I never got to mod it much here's the thread http://forum.difflock.com/viewtopic.php?t=72425...ight=terios+tyres

So now I have my own business and can do what I want when I want I am off out tomorrow to buy another terios here's a pic

If it's half decent it's mine.

The plan for the build you ask.......... well I felt the old terios needed bigger tyres so I'm aiming for 205/80/16s or 235/75/15s depending on which wheels I run. To do this I plan to make front 1.5 or 2" lift blocks and 1.5 or 2" front subframe drop blocks so i dont keep breaking front cv joints the rear I'm going to cut the axles spring mounts and add 1.5 or 2" into them rear shocks will be astra mk2 rears the same as we run on sj's. Then if power is an issue I may turbo the yaris engine or swap it out for something different and use a low box and maybe a solid front axle conversion but we will see what goes. Well I'm off in the morning to go and look at the terios and if it's no good I have 3 more lined up

I now have a terios parked at the unit, just needs a few bits and bobs but I feel it was a bargin for an 05 motor. Let the mods begin

Fitted a wheel bearing and now done 300 miles in the little terios, all seems good. I've made templates to do a lift kit and that's as far as I have got. Loving the little truck tho

This pre cutting of the arches

Lots of cutting including the end of the sill

Even had to cut the rear to make them fit. May get the 2" lift on it at some point but we will see how it goes

In order to fit the spare wheel it needed to have the carrier modding. I cut the mounts off the carrier and added some inch x inch box, I then had to weld the rest of the carrier on an inch high so the wheel didn't catch the bumper

How does it go with the big wheels? Does it now struggle to pull?
