Hello... looking at the physical limits of articulation on a disco 1 if radius arms and shocks etc was not the limiting factor .. it will be the A frame ball joint ..anyone know how many degrees the axle can rotate on the ball joint before it binds?....and what is the solution to get more ? i have some ideas..but wonder if the problem has been solved with something simple

Gwyn lewis sells one that gives a slightly wider angle. I had one and could get this;

I've seen a full suspension kit that gave incredible flex off the stock mounts, I can't remember the name off the top of my head or find the photos, but they replaced the top a frame link which is fixed together at the centre with two individual links with a joint at the axle end which gave loads of movement. If I find it later I will post it.
