Looking for a few ideas to check.
So firstly its still loosing water but no water leaks. It only smokes heavily in the morning whens its cold and strangely only with how the weather has been the past week, foggy in the morning.
The last 3 times of starting the engine from cold it has cranked once and stopped like something is stopping it, then try again and it fires up.

Cylinder head gasket. Foggy weather = smoky engine, all cars seem to do it. The smoke is probably water vapour from the foggy/damp atmosphere and more from a bit of water vapour from the water lost from the cooing system, that is assuming it is leaking into the cylinders from a duff gasket. Smoke/vapour will decrease as the engine warms up.

And the not wanting to start?
This afternoon took 4-5 times of turning the key for it to start cranking, it would stop as soon as it would try and turn the engine, then on the 5 time just cranked and started.

You can't compress water Wink

once the water is squeezed out the engine will turn over properly
