Hi All,
just to let you know that I am competing in this years Mac 4x4 Challenge which begins on thursday 2nd March and finishes 4 days later on the sunday. We have been told that the event will take place in Ireland, which is great news apart from crossing the Irish sea twice (Roughest crossing i have ever had on a ship of any kind).
My co-driver this year is Tom Hyde, a very good member of Team Chaos that many of you have met at our Core events.
I know every time you switch on your pc, tablet or whatever there is always someone asking for money for charity and yes, I am afraid I am the same.
MacMillan nurses offer a fantastic supprt and care service for cancer sufferers and their families. We all know someone who is or has been affected by cancer, it has no respect for age, SPAM, colour or religion, it is indiscriminate and cruel.
So please help by clicking the Justgiving link below. It is totally secure and if you are a uk taxpayer the government will add to your donation at no extra cost to you. Honestly every single penny can make such a difference.
If you are a company please see if there is anything you can donate to us for the post event dinner, everything will be very greatfully received.
I thank you all in advance.

best wishes and if you are in Ireland give us a wave if you see us.
Colin

I hope you will forgive my not donating to you personally, but believe me I do support the cause. I work for Greene King and they partner MacMillan, so its very easy for me to show my support there.
I do urge everyone to get involved though, The "fantastic support and care service for cancer sufferers and their families" that Colin talks about is no lie, and I don't think I could even hope to do the job that the nurses do. Those guys deserve every penny that they get.

Hi Mike328,
thank you for your kind comments. If people knew half of what goes into maintaining the services of Macmillan Cancer Support it would be a shock to many. Luckily, with the support of the Differs community and our cooperate sponsors we have been able to raise enough funds to pay for two Macmillan nurses for a bit over a year. It is fantastic people like yourself and the company you work for support them as well as you do.
Best wishes
Colin.
