Hi guys

I not the best on computers so don't know if I'm in the right section lol.
Basically I've bought a grand vitara gv1600 2002 with a blown engine I also have a mk1 vitara jlx 1.6 16v they both have the same engine codes g16b in just wondering if the engine from my mk1 will fit the grand vitara if so is it a straight forward swap or do I need modify parts to make it fit any help will be much appreciated

Cheers guys

Only working from other engines/truck combinations...

If it is the same engine as you say then it should fit - any extra bits that you need to fit it should be on the blown engine - engine mounts, gearbox plates, flywheel and clutch etc.

If you keep all the ancillaries on the GV then theoretically everything should work afterwards
