There have been problems where a number of members, some spammers, some trolls and some who should have known better, posted up pictures of swear words or used their signatures to get around the profanity filters.

We've also had a few periods where people have trolled the forum by posting up inappropriate images in both new and recent posts in order to tie the Moderators up in sorting out the mess whilst they continued to cause a mess.

The end result of this was that the Forum owners decided that new members would not automatically be able to upload images (although linking still worked and never caused an issue) nor be able to put anything they want in their signatures.

This also means that some people who rejoined after a period away also got caught out. This has been a decision by Admin rather than the Mods and its only relatively recently that a couple of us have been able to sort out membership issues.

If possible I'd like to upload pictures too as I'm not very savvy and don't have a photo bucket account. Mainly it'll be photos of the arctic I built recently.
