I think I've asked this before - but is the pickup bit standard from the factory? The pickup sides remind me of the sides on the honda pickups my family used to use on the milk round.

If you ever want a ready made Pick Up bed the Kap Suzuki Pickups use the Honda ones Shortened to which ever length is wanted.

I made this from a few suzukis

I bought a genuine Kja pickup sj413 that was rotten and used the bulkhead and roof from that and binned the rest.

Floor pan from a rust free 1994 samurai

Chassis from a Lwb samurai

Bed from a Bedford rascal chopped down by about a foot.

All the panels and running gear are from my old red samurai van.

Spec:

Samurai Lwb chassis, kja cab, Bedford radcal bed, shot blasted 100% rust free.

1.6 16v vitara engine, paddle clutch, sj413 jap gearbox

Trail gear transfer box 6.5 to one built by Rockwatt custom challenge cradle Rickwatt built again with spine. Rockwatt twin stick conversion with 2 low

Landcruiser prop shafts front and rear

Old man emu 3 inch lift springs, rear springs on the front, front missing link suspension, 3 inch lift shackles, rough country nitro shocks, custom shock towers.

Samurai axles, low range offroad axle trusses and offroad armoury axle trusses, offroad armoury diff guards, Rockwatt knuckle gussets, rcv 33 spline front half shafts and cvs, rear rob stood fully floating conversion, warn premium freewheeling hubs on all four corners, 5.38 ring and pinions, lock rite lockers, solid crush collars.

Long wheel base vitara brakes all round, vented discs, hydraulic handbrake, Subaru impretza master cyliner.

Vitara v6 power steering, rob Storr high steer kit.

Kirkey aluminium Racing seats and harnesses.

Art offroad wheels 11 inches wide, 10 inch offset, beadlocked, super swamper boggers 37/13/16.

Warn 8274 winches upgraded with air Freespool by delta Tek and uprated main shafts by delta tek, delta Tek stainless steel wide mouth winch hawses, arb air compressor.

Roll cage by Rockwatt made from cds tube.

Kja cabs are so small there the only way to create leg room without midding the cab !!

It's very tight in there !!
