Looks interesting. Tickets not on sale yet though. Looks like fun and not too far from us. Camping off site with tents be the looks though reading the website. I'll mention it to some of the folks near me and see what they think.

I've watched one of your vids of the place already I think.
You thinking of going?
It's boys night in the shed tonight so i'll suggest it.
What was it that top gear did there?

The show or the pay n plays? Worth staying overnight for the show? Plenty to do in the pay n play area + the show itself?

The first Pay n Play the company did, I was invited down to check the site out and help out with Marshaling.
This is the first show they are doing.

I am going on one of the days, sure is a great site and not just a sea of mud as some are locally to me.
and yes top gear did film there with the drug dealers car episode.
you can go almost anywhere there is a track.
there was quite a few Suzy's last time I went, also next play day is the 23rd april, going to that as well.

Seems like the year for show firsts... I've signed up for http://thebigoutdoors.org/ which I think is a first too.
I think i'll try and come down for it but camp. Google says 2 hours ish from me - which ain't so bad if making a weekend of it.
Might have stuck my vitara back together by then too.

You aren't far from me so if i go we could drive down together.
Not sure i like the look of that big outdoors event..... Although limited to 50 vehicles, encouraging a lot of 4x4s all into one area at the same time to go green laning could go down very badly with the anti 4x4 brigade and local councils that's pretty damn irresponsible if you ask me.

Yeah I'm hoping that won't be the case. In their defense - from the program looks like they run one laning trip which has 5 slots on it only which is pretty sensible imo. I've opted out of that one because you end up missing half of the stuff they are putting on on-site. They've got other stuff on pretty much non-stop. I guess the risk is if folks end up using it as a base for laning trips on there own and all of a sudden there are 50 trucks wondering around - which you could argue they have encouraged. I'm viewing it as camping with some activities on-site (its cheap camping with a car of four - btw) - but I hear what you are saying.
Yeah i'll try and remember to drop you a message nearer the time to arrange a convoy...
Need to remember to buy tickets - any idea when they go on sale?

Of course, will give it the benefit of the doubt but it could be a recipe for disaster if as you say everyone decides to use it as a base for a laning trip. We do a little weekend trip laning in wales once a year anyway with my club.
Haven't got a clue when tickets go on sale, will just have to keep an eye out on the website I guess.
