Hello!
I don't know much about rangers (except my mates go one and he loves it - they go lamping..etc..) but I also don't know much about the moles that are fccking up my grass. Any chance you have any advise for me? I don't necessarily want to catch them, killing them is good enough Smile

I don't know about rangers or moles but I do know about the mole catcher who suspected his wife was having an affair with the milkman.

He got up very early (to catch moles) leaving his wife in bed and tied an onion to the bed springs so that with only her weight in the bed it was just above the surface of a bowl of cream. The theory being that if anyone else got in the bed with her the onion would dip into the cream leaving traces of cream on it.

So when he returned home later that morning he looked under the bed only to find that the cream had turned into butter!

I think a 2005 plate will be a facelift version of the 52 plate I had. Mazdas really. The only thing I had against it was the service interval was 3000 miles, two minors then a major. If you pay a garage it gets expensive if your doing it yourself it's like painting the forth bridge.

Only mechanical failure I had was the fuel pump died which was about a £1600 job.

Mine was a 2.5 diesel but the facelift wildtrak was available with a 3.0. I think there was a v6 petrol too?

The gearing was good for towing, a bit low geared for high speed cruising. The 4wd system was simple enough, all mechanical apart from the front hubs. All in all a decent enough pickup.
