I am currently running 31" tyres on my LJ70 and do not plan on going any bigger. I primarily use this vehicle to do medium duty off-roading. No serious rock climbing in the near future.
I find the stock springs to be terrible "soft" and steering is vague at best.
I'd rather not lift the LJ70, but has anyone found any stock height springs
or 50mm or less springs that will improve the handling on this vehcicle.
Thanks.
Don

Before you start changing the springs/shocks, I would check all the bushes in the Hockey sticks, steering & and control arms first. I thought I had a knackered shock once, so bought a pair of replacement OME shocks only to find the shock was fine and it was a bush in the hockey stick that was kaput.
I've just bought the Iron man springs/shocks for my KZJ70, will let you know what there like in the new year when I get it back on the road.
