Hi. I am trying to get a workmate into off roading. So I am going to take the girlfriends softroader in, as mine is off the road and I am just wondering if there are any good lanes in the area suitable for a swb vitara with just a set of nobblies on it.
Many thanks Lloyd.

pffft! soft roader indeed Wink I watched a standard vitara on road tyres go some serious places at the weekend... and even after the front diff had broken it proceeded to pull a beached l200 free before going home...

Sorry though don't know the area. Maybe go to a pay n play with it so they've got a bit more choice on how easy/hard a route to take?

It is a capable little thing but I can't really risk getting stuck on my lunch break.
I picked up the OS map for the area and there is a couple of lanes. So I will investigate those.

There are some lanes in the area, not many but there are some. I've used a few during supporting activities in the area, although those that were with me doubted the legality of the routes I drove.

I only checked the lanes that I figured I'd use to support the area but if you've access to Trailwise you can check the legalities yourself. Starting out it is best to go with others too and not to go on your own and risk getting stuck to build up your confidence and knowledge of the areas though.
