I heard that BMW were going to recall all BMW drivers as a gesture of goodwill to other road users during the Christmas period.

If it snows they wont have recall...we'll all be stuck trying to get out of the drive with wheels spinning and no way of totally switching off the traction control the ones that do make it out the drive will be backwards in hedges

Thankyou Mr Tyre. For all the people that didn't get my little joke, I do know how to use my indicators properly; they're for when you're pulling up on double yellows/bus stops/cycle lanes and for use in emergencies when I just have to answer the phone. Had to clarify that before you all assume i'm one of the stereotype...

This use is entirely optional, also as it is to indicate only after the manoeuvre has been made.

I followed a BMW the other day - the right hand indicator flashed before turning right
However it was a Belgium one so left hand drive - wonder if that is the problem?
When building the RHD models BMW left the indicator wiring on the left hand side?!

It was probably left on from just after it made the last left turn.
