Is it a Freelander 1 or a Freelander 2?
I did see a magazine article for a lift on a F1 quite a few yonks ago and I will see if I can find it and post here it if I can.

pics as promised firstly my hi steer spacer, still a work in progress needs a couple of flats machined into the sides for an adjustable spanner
thisd pic shows it fitted and still allowing full ball joint movement a chamfer will go arond the bottom edge to avoid any damage to the rubber boot
a close look at the steering spacer
my suspension strut spacers a few pics of the weld up
, the are made from a mix of 6mm and 3mm mild steel as you can see in a couple of places the 3mm is doubled up to make a 6mm part
and the finished set ready for powdercoat (now done but no pics) uber strong

Hi, my name is Darren and I own a fl1 with a Lseries Diesel engine. Ive been looking all over the net for the plate drawings as I can't justify spending £130 on something I could quite easily fabricate for next to nothing. Would it be possible for you to share the prints with me.
Thanks in advance
Darren

Just so ya know. There is no such thing as a SWB and LWB Freelander 1. They are all the same wheelbase and length.
Hope the lift kit works out ok for you.
