I've had the Disco 4 for a week now and whilst I'm delighted with it, I know if I'm not very careful I'll make a real mess of the inside. The main problem is the dog who is far too much of a princess to go in the boot and sits like a lady on the back seat. I looked at Exmoor Trim's excellent seat covers but they are both expensive (but worth it - I had them for the 110) but the hassle of taking them on/off regularly would be a pain and a decent old bedsheet works just as well given the seats are larger and the dog doesn't drag them off the seat so easily.
Last night I was about to take a pile to rubbish to the coup (tip) and realised I would make a real mess even with the LR heavy duty rubber mat that came with the car so I looked at their load area protector. After a wee web search for cheaper/used ones I came across this
www.hatchbag.co.uk
There are plenty of recommendations from other Disco owners so I've ordered one. Looks much neater than the LR one, heavier and allows the rear seats to drop individually (optional extra but a necessary one). It all velcros into place and should make it easier for me not to turn the back of the car into a shed!

The choice was limited by finance as much as anything else, I always knew the D4 was the best for me. As it happens a couple of deals came thru early and I got a fair deal. I am delighted but ignoring the high running costs.
They will deliver it next Friday and I'll give feedback and photos.

Strewth - much more professional than the bin bag and black maskers I used to 'proof' the back of me 90 when getting rid of the rubbish!
