Discovered this at a Russian website - which seem to be some sort of a Torsen ?:

DAK "Niva" Front Axle

"Field" (WHA 2121) and modifications. Date of issue until April 2004.

Bearing 33h62h16 mm - 707 Semiaxis 22 slot.

Automatic Differential Krasikova designed to work in any transmissions wheel vehicles on various roads and off-road, in vsёh range of speeds and loads.

Kinematic scheme Duck scheme is similar to the classical differential. AIBN planetary gear in which the role played by the satellite ball chain.

When the slope of the helical grooves of the screws pointing in different directions ahead of the vehicle (Fig. - Rotation of the body from top to bottom), is loaded with ALL ball chain that is locked in the rotary channel.

When the slope of helical grooves directed towards the screw (Fig. - The rotation of the housing bottom to top), loaded to a greater extent of the chain in direct contact with the screws. Another part of the chain in contact with the rotary channel remains underused. Component force that locks the chain in a rotary ball channel is insufficient to lock the differential. You must reload "weak" wheel external influence. Weak wheel is called a wheel that has a lower coefficient of drag. Strong wheel is called the wheel which has a larger coefficient of resistance.

90% -tsifra conditional, it just means that to create the conditions necessary to block the external load on a weak wheel. But while in the locked state DAK transmits 100% of the load on the wheel strong. This is the main difference from Dhaka slip differential, where the time for a strong wheel is transmitted to the extent that it can keep the friction pair.

DAK - automatic feedback system, its response to changing road conditions instantaneously (torque response on the wheel, not the speed of rotation). The car, equipped with a differential DAC acquires driving stability on slippery surfaces.

Continuity, stability and all-terrain vehicle is substantially increased.

The slots at the diff Housing makes me think that this might NOT be a Torsen:

Does anyone have any experience with those diffs ?
Maybe it is NOT a Torsen ?

Oops......since my previous post I did a Google search about these diffs, and I discovered this :

The photos and product at my initial post have been listed only four days ago as "new" product - at the website where I found the product.........maybe it is just the very (uninproved ?) product which has been discussed a couple of years ago at the link above..
