The below site shows alknown Byways in all counties and also include ORPAs which most ROW maps don't include as they are not dealt with by the ROW dept but by Highways

sptb - thanks that a cracking link had a look at it
I should have been more preicse as the ordance survey map shows all the byways but doenst state weather they are open, TRO'd, have temporary TRO etc etc
the council ones seem to show ordance survey maps but have overlays that highlight the byways, makes planning a lot easier if they are highlighted.

Yeap there always mucking about with the councils, I've lived in 3 different ones in the last 30 odd years and never moved.
Worst still they muck around with the boundarys now and again, and some councils control roads and highways in other authorities, kind of swopping responsiblily.
So you can end up spending shed loads of time getting hold of a row officer only to be told although the map says its in thieir authority the row is looked after by another. Even the definative maps for an area can be placed in a neighbouring authority.
anyhow heres an up to date list

I'll bet you find many (if not all) of the maps won't show TRO info either, they will just be an electronic copy of the definitive map. TRO info is held separately.

yep already finding that info out already going green laning can be a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is why i am trying to gather some info on here so i can then look to TRY and put all the info together in one map, that has all the byways TRO's Restircted byways etc etc on it i know it like trying to get blood from a stone!! but hey i like a challenge
this is why i want the info that readily available online as it easier to gather then start contacting councils that dont have it.

i know this is not going not be an easy challege, but why do easy thats no fun!!!!!
It seems that websites like wayfinder are great but dont seem to have one big map. they have a lot of info on the lanes and locations
if you could merge the info on wayfinder into an OS map that you can then see all the lanes that are the colour coded with links to TRO info possible pictures, info, how hard the lane is etc etc
Thanks for the info i have updated the list in regards to sub-councils in berkshire

No probs, its an interesting concept you have, and it should give a more direct, (email at the least) route to finding local rights of way officers.
