Hi, I have a 99 terrano with standard fitment 235/70/16 tyres on, can I put 245/75/16 on without any adverse effects? I'm just concerned about going a little bit wider. Any advise is welcome but no insults please, I'm a very sensitive boy Very Happy

You can put 245/75R16's on but you aren't going to gain a huge amount of width, but you will gain around 40mm in diameter depending on what you intend to fit as in AT,MT, or something more aggressive.

I am planning on getting some bfg all-terrain, they seem to fit the bill. I will be towing a caravan and usual social driving but i had an hour or two on a pay and play site and got the bug so I thought them a good choice. I'm a bit clueless about 4x4 tyres and have been trying to educate myself, I'm not after really wide but I thought I may as well give my diff a bit of extra clearance.

Thanks for reply and welcome, Mark Very Happy
