Evening all, bit of advice needed. My 200tdi disco has recently started idling higher than normal, about 1100 rpm. I haven't adjusted anything, and it's been perfect for years previously. The cable is free and oiled, and the throttle arm is resting back on the idle adjuster. Is there anything inside the pump that could have split or worn to have caused the idle to suddenly change?
Thanks

Is it using more oil than usual? Sometimes the seals in the turbo can become worn and let some oil through which is then burnt as additional fuel. Check the turbo hose engine side to see if it is oiled up.
