Hi folks, I'm after some information, my fourtrak has got a fairly bad case of rotten outer and inner sill rot. whilst looking around the internet for repair solutions I've seen mention of using 100x50 box section to replace the origional crap, has anybody got any experience or info about how to do it?, any help much appreciated, thanks.
Sorry, should have said it's an 1997 Independant in case it makes any difference.

Hmmmm, interesting, you've certainly given me some options, I'll read the rest of your topic and try and work out the way to go, thanks for your help, I'm not sure what to do at the moment. The truck has only done 97000 so has a lot of life still in her, bloody crap to scrap her

I'd love to see a video showing the cutting out of the rotten sills and specific fixing approach for this. Wink It is a job that crops up now and then.

Well I'm going to get mine in the workshop this week, hopefully tomorrow, whip the seats and carpets out and make a decision once I can really see just how bad it is.
If I decide to go ahead with it then I shall take loads of photo's and post them on here, at least then everyone will know how not to do it, lol.
Had a quick look on ebay for some box section and flat sheet, and I dont think it will cost more than £100 at the very most, so if it's possible to do it, it's a cheap fix.
