I work for one of Drop it, Hold it, Lose it's rivals - a virus warning for email attachments supposedly from DHL has been on our intranet's home page for nearly two years.
I've had them come through to me at work...
Though the emails don't say they've tried to deliver a month ago - that's shocking even for DHL!
Fedex are the other main target for scams - I get at least two emails a week at home purporting to be from Fedex.

I tell everyone whose computers I help sort out not to open ANY attachment they are not expecting even if their virus checker is up to date.
My kids are the worst.

This is one of the financial type I get regularly:
IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION
Australian Taxation Office - 11/20/2013
After the last calculation of your fiscal activity we have determined that you are eligible to receive a refund of 2551.40 AUD.
For more details please follow the steps bellow :
- Right-click the link on the attachment name, and select Save Link As, Save Target As or a similar option provided.
- Select the location into which you want to download the file and choose Save.
- Unzip the attached file.
Daren Brennan,
Tax Refund Department
Australian Taxation Office
Ok so this one happens to be Australian - not all of them are but the interesting thing with these is that the return path is always fraud@aexp.com which is american express - as I understand it, the return path is set by the sending server at the time of sending and cannot be hacked/added by an external source... this would mean 1 of 2 things - amex has been hacked or someone in amex is doing the phishing

I work for one of DHL's many acquisitions DHL actually stands for Don't Hurry Lads.

We have the pleasure of many ex-DHL managers working for us, and those in the Midlands always refer to their old company as per my original post.
I guess different parts of the country made up their own phrases.
IIRC there was (still is?) a Difflocker from Warrington who works for DHL.
Can't remember his name though.
Seem to remember he posted photos of one of his work colleagues in his underwear and hi-viz vest...
