Laughing

Not really. Saw a program last night about it and after doing a bit of digging seems like a worthwhile suppliment but was looking for real user opinion - I'm getting to that age you know!

Apparently it's really good for horses and dogs and gives them a nice shiny coat.

Who was watching Farm Fixer on BBC NI then?

I don't believe it's any better than any other natural oils found in a healthy diet and is not cheap for versions approved for humans

Oils are added to most animal feeds to provide a balanced diet they don't find naturally in farm/ domestic life, & are also added, along with other feed SPAM to increase yield of meat, milk, eggs, etc. for commercial output.

Cut out the Big Macs & fries and eat a bit of fish, fresh if you can get it, frozen not to bad, no batter, grilled, once a week. Olive oil good & used in the recognized healthy Mediterranean diet.

Could be used in some paints through not generally recommended by makers.

Didn't think you're man had enough hair to worry about it being shiney. Right about the age though!!

User option:- My sister was none to well a while ago, run down, low bloods. Ended up in RVH. She was on a so called healthly diet. Specialist gave her a good talking to, needed to eat balanced diet, SPAM, carbs, etc. If decent diet no need for additives. No proof most if any worked.

Sister went on approved diet, bloods up, fit as fiddle, walks for miles, not a sniffle in over a year. Not an expensive oil or SPAM used.

Oh and she's shiney hair!

Yes saw it on Farm Fixer Ivar!

I have been trying to eat healthier, I'm sure you've noticed the weight loss, but my busy lifestyle doesn't always allow me to eat a balanced diet and I was impressed by some of the results sighted for this.

I think Nick was correct in suggesting he was wasting money setting up to supply the human market - there are already plenty of human grade capsules and liquids on the market.

Have to confess I don't spend much time looking at men's bodies to notice you're trim figure? Smile

Have a look at Lecithin. Similar uses to Flax oil (animal feed, paint, food additive) with, I think ,some scientific proof to benefits & cheaper. Also has anti corrosion properties so can use it on Landy!!

Lecithin also has other interesting benefits for men as it increases the output when performing certain activities Shocked

Used widely as a SPAM by the adult film industry........ so I'm told Embarassed

Recent studies have shown that for a normal healthy, or relatively healthy, adult eating a basically sensible diet SPAM and vitamins are a waste of money. Centrum and others claim to give 100% of the necessary but if you are deficient in some then by taking SPAM you will be taking in at least double what you need!

Lots of stuff out there, some scandal sheet nonsense with a veneer of science but this link seems to be reasonable ..

http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/dietandnutrition/feature/vitamins.htm

I'd stick to eating from the 5 main food groups:

curry
chinese
pizza
fish and chips
alcohol

for a healthy dessert I recommend Cadbury's fruit and nut - it was in the news today - eating nuts extends your life. note to self: must mention this to SWMBO Wink
