As Im changing my landy alot to suit a different discipline, Im having so spend quite a bit, but there are a few things that Im doing that dont cost alot, and will hopefully provide a good improvement, and it got me thinking, actually the small low cost bits really do add up!
We all know you can spend huge amounts on tyres, axles- suspension and the like, but whats your favourite low cost or home made mod?
ATM mine is probably the seats having suffered crap seats for ever its so refreshing to have a nice comfy pair fitted, and they were only £25!

my diet coke bottle air reservoir for lockers/freespool cost about £12. the next is using deodorant aerosol lids to cover my air freespool cost nothing but I stole that idea.
Other favourite that was not necessarily that cheap: beer keg petrol tank

I think it's the under ski. Easier to clean than a belly pan and a lot cheaper
Bicycle gear levers for changing winch gears must be high on my list as well.

Probably the cheapest mod is a torsion bar wind up costs absolutely nothing to do (initially) and can give you a lift of 40mm or more
In the long run though, you'll get through tyres on a fast regular basis followed by CV joints - sometimes cheap isn't the best...

Followed by dropping the diff (free) and adjusting the camber (free)
Suddenly a torsion bar lift stops eating tyres and CV's.

is it wrong to consider that i am probably a better driver after a drink?
(to all the doogooder PC Brigade that may happen to be reading this i do NOT advocate, or take part in any driving whilst intoxicated)

Little Tank; The winch has 6:1 gear set but can change to 1:1 for a stupidly fast reeve speed, and the bike gear levers let you change that from the cab. The 'fix' came from HFS
Hand throttle was good cheap fix, for when you found yourself with a foot on the clutch and one on the brake. You just blip it with your finger tips.
The autobox shift has a plate across it so you go to reverse, not right through to park. Cheaps and simples

Best advise I was given by a mate for high speed bike riding. Works with snowboards too.
