It was the interview with the mother and brother of L/Cpl James Ashworth that got me - seeing her comfort and pride in his valour was quite humbling.

As with the comments above, but the moment for me was the little girl running to greet her Daddy - and this is what it is all about - those that made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that others throughout the world can have and hold their loved ones now and always. It is this that makes such sacrifice we must honour and respect so dearly. So little to pay for so great sacrifice - we can never forget.

Very true.
I was lucky enough to hear Lt Col Chris Keeble, 2i/c of the paras at Goose Green back in 82, give the address at Sandhurst this morning. Amongst a gritty account of the emotions in battle he said this: "we may find it difficult at times to remember, but we also do it so we don't forget".
