What are you using the truck for, I've tried the KL71 and they are useless at P&P sites, more a green lane tyre I reckon.
Very smooth on-road though, so if it's a daily driver they're worth a look in.

only time i have seen them struggle is in DEEP mud..
other than that KL71s are stunning tyres..

I understood that DEEP mud for KL71s was anything over tread depth...
I'd say avoid them - there are far better all round tyres out there

I love my KL71s for my purposes... lots of road use with off road here and there. If I was going just for pay and play I'd go for special tracks or recips...
But I've just driven to amsterdam and back and wouldn't have fancied that on special tracks!!!

Just make sure you get them fitted by someone who understand directional tyres
When I got mine fitted the first time they did 3 one way round and 1 the other! Bit of a surprise when I picked them up!

I have them and can't think of a better mud for everyday use on the road and driving a couple of times a month off road.
They are not as good as an a/t on the road or an aggressive m/t off road they work happily in the wet on the tarmac though they don't like greasy roads they also do me fine on Salisbury Plain though sidewalls are not the strongest and the treads do get cut up.

How are you getting on with these??? I know it's not long since you posted but I'm in the need of a new set of treads for my F78 and was looking at 31/10.5/15's to go on the standard 15x7 alloys.
Have you lifted your Trak at all? Mines running standard hight and in reality spends most of its life running back and forth to work so A roads and M4 for 50 miles a day. I'm more so looking at the impending doom that is half an inch if snow and all the main roads blocking so trying to head back home via country lanes that have never seen a grittier!
I was looking at General AT2's but no one seems to have stock of them, so looking at alternates now, I see 4x4 tyres have KL71's in for £116 each, is there anything else worth considering???
Thanks in advance

The General AT2 was superceded by the General AT so they will be the ones to look for. Some people find the KL71 wear fairly quickly, others get good mileage out of them, i have someone running a set of KL71 on a LR 90 that have done something close to 60k with them.I have seen the General AT advertised at around 115 quid each with the vat.If it spends that much time on road Nexen do the Roadian AT for around 76 quid a corner which would be ample enough.

Khumo KL71's are a great all round tyre.
As for loads of peeps saying they are carp in mud.....just try airing down and you will find they are just great.
