Mr Plop claimed to know some muddi-babes, but in reality probably only knew Pam (and her 5 sisters).

However, imagine if his stories had some truth in them....maybe we all missed the weekend of a lifetime driving those cars on his private circuit!

Smile

As for sloss, he's still around up this way.

Los popped back in a couple of years ago but didn't stick around for long.

I was discussing forums and blogs with an acquaintance last night about a guy who has a reputation for trolling both online and in person then suing for defamation when criticised. Our discussion went on to the futility of trying to prevent trolling and flaming and I remembered a discussion we had here about the Middle East/Arab/Israel issue and how, apart from the very start, it ran for about 9 months of heated and impassioned debate but with almost no bad humour. Difflock and its members should be proud of its track record.

I originally found the forum after some numpty crashed into my Mini...I bought a Jeep as a replacement and was looking for other off-roaders, advice, events, etc. I have been through a lot with the reprobates on here and even deleted my account at one point, but I came back and still pop in from time to time. I remember when T became the original milestone 'flocker though! Seems an age away! Confused

Yes, I got the yellow one after I got mud in the air intake of the red one at an event...I tok the red one to Tom's Farm where I met Wavey and up to Drumclog that summer and had to replace it in the November because it had picked up a piston ring and was getting ready to throw a con rod! He had a good innings though. The current Jeep is the one you met in Hants, Jon, and is still fab Smile

In 2008 had just bought my HiLux Surf and was looking for help and advice. A quick google search and a little bit of lurking on a few different forums and I decided Difflock suited me best.

I remember that, it was a great discussion, I learned so much from that debate/discussion! It was the "Difflock Community" that was the deciding factor for me when joining.

Regards, John.

DD - I'm fine thanks, living on the edge of That London but still have the 90 and still get out on the Plain now and again and occasionally take a look on here. Most off tarmac adventures are on an MTB these days - still get crap from ramblers now and again, so no change there.

I once got some crap from ramblers when I was doing a bit of off-roading, I listened patiently until they finished spewing out all their reasons for why I was doing wrong, I then told them where to get off and that they were trespassing on my ground as I happened to be the owner where they were trespassing. Got apologies and they very sheepishly departed. Laughing

I have Weetabix for breakfast each morning. I can't remember what I had this morning
If I can't remember this morning how do you expect me to remember what I did years and years ago

When did I register ?
