That this little bit of rain coming in from the atlantic will be as bad as the apocalyptic "katrina esque" storm the newspapers and media are warning off..
few trees down maybe?

worried now!
been struggling to get a builder to lower a chimney stack on the corner of our house!
finally got one but won't be here till next Friday!
hopefully the highest winds will be south of us.
The way my luck is going at moment ........ hard hats at the ready

gets lowered for you, insurance pays for the repairs..
job done.

Aye and don't forget the chances of getting insurance next year will diminish due to living in an area susceptible to wind and storm damage

Thanks , did not know what to do in big storm , no training . thought I would hide under kitchen table with my thumb in mouth , crying I want my mummy . Now I know just updating Facebook , May have issues with the 10mph as i have never gone that slow ever , and I scream at every one (to get off the road I coming thru )

And there's the difference between the south coast and Scotland.
I took my mod2 bike test in a 50mph cross wind coming off the coast - that would be a force 9 on the beafort scale. We call it a bit breezy up here, down there it's a hurricane.
Not like there's autumnal storms every, err autumn either.

Not much wind through the night here in the chilterns, blew a bit strong between six & seven this morning though, then leccy went off till not long ago, no vodafone either for most of the day.

They did seem to be struggling on the news to show actual coverage - they had obviously set aside a lot of airtime and had very little to fill it with!
