That this little bit of rain coming in from the atlantic will be as bad as the apocalyptic "katrina esque" storm the newspapers and media are warning off..

worried now!
been struggling to get a builder to lower a chimney stack on the corner of our house!
finally got one but won't be here till next Friday!
hopefully the highest winds will be south of us.

it might be a blessing in disguise...

gets lowered for you, insurance pays for the repairs..

job done.

Thanks , did not know what to do in big storm , no training . thought I would hide under kitchen table with my thumb in mouth , crying I want my mummy . Now I know just updating Facebook , May have issues with the 10mph as i have never gone that slow ever , and I scream at every one (to get off the road I coming thru )

And there's the difference between the south coast and Scotland.

I took my mod2 bike test in a 50mph cross wind coming off the coast - that would be a force 9 on the beafort scale. We call it a bit breezy up here, down there it's a hurricane. Laughing Laughing

Not like there's autumnal storms every, err autumn either.

Not much wind through the night here in the chilterns, blew a bit strong between six & seven this morning though, then leccy went off till not long ago, no vodafone either for most of the day.
