This question is about the quality of bio when made from oil such as rape or soya. I know that if these oils are contaminated with oils such as palm oil, then the resultant bio will have a high cold pour point. My source of oil is based purely on soya and rape, but many of the restaurants cook with it for far too long and it is deep brown, approaching black. When I make a batch using 125L of raw oil, I can get 100L of bio if the oil is good, but the return can be as little as 75L for bad oil.
So here's the question: Is the bio produced from a 75L yeild based on over-used oil any worse than bio from the 100L yield based on good oil ? In otherwords, provided the bio comes from a known stock such as rape or soya, is B100 exactly the same from both batches ?
