It's that time of year again when I have to line the pockets of the greedy insurance brokers who will take your money then do everything possible to squirm out of paying anything back in the event of an unfortunate incident.
Can anyone recommend a decent insurance company, sympathetic to a few mods (MT's, 2" suspension lift, a decent sturdy bumper and a skid plate).
Not performance enhancing or too extreme, just make the car the way it should have been made.
I'm not intending doing anything more than a few greenlanes and maybe the odd play day at local off road sites.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A small point, Brokers find you insurance and take a cut, Underwriters provide the Cover & they are the ones that are to pay out if there is a valid claim.
Just use any specialist Broker that does non standard vehicles or 4x4 On road & Off road vehicles.
The Policies come from only a few Underwriters.
(Green Lanes are not Off Road remember.
Play Sites are, but you can get Off road Cover for when on Ground you have permission to be on & when not for work. at least 3rd party in case you are claimed against.)
Be sure to declare all Mods & be sure to confirm they have accepted and get this in writing from them, the Underwriter not the Broker.
Maybe try them among others.

yup, I also had 'oddjob' insured through adrian flux.
Listed all of the many mods, and it was still buttons to insure....limited mileage package (3k/year) and I paid about 130 quid!

Every time I get a renewal from AF they increase the price. Phone call later and sorted. Last time I got them down from £750 to £350 on a phone call for the s'class.

I use Adrian Flux for the Alldays and they are easy to deal with and quite cheap. current premium is ~£250pa limited mileage to 1,500 per year (hahaha) and agreed value of something really astronomical
