hi, ive just bought a 300tdi and have just discovered the boot floor is full of fibre glass. ive got a floor in the workshop somewhere and was wondering how big a job it is to fix. how many hours etc. plan is to sell it in a month or 2 anyway when I can find a landcruiser

It took me about a days work, but it all depends on how much rust removal you have to do...

very straightforward job. took me a day the first time I did one. I didn't have a spot weld drill so had to grind, cut and chisel the fecker out. the next time, a spot weld drill sped th process up immeasurably. never bothered removing the deisel tanks.
while its out give the top of the chassis a dust off and give everything a good coat of hammerite or similar. the only bit you'll need a friend for is refitting the rear seatbelt anchors.
also take apart and clean the sedimentor while you have easy access to it. doing it from underneath can be a b tch of a job.
