I'm now running 265/75 R16 muds on my disco 300Tdi. Can anyone suggest suitable pressures for on/off road use?

For LT (Light Truck) casings you could start at 34psi front 38psi rear for on road use.As for off road use pressures are dependent on axle load for instance at 1400 kgs axle load you can drop down to 22psi.

Not sure on Disco, but i put this question to the BFG helpline when i fitted 265's to my 90.
They suggested 28 fr and 38 rr.

Any help?

Is there a formula for this type of tyre preasure question ?

Just off the top of my head, I'm thinking manufactureres reccomended tyre preasure divided by volume of standard tyre, multiplied by volume of new tyre.

Or something like that - would it work ?

Lawrence
