Start with this 5 months ago.
Only gone and bought this.
Rangy V8 Bobtail
with T&T
Needs some work, but from limited knowledge,
it has
2" body 2" Sus Lift
upgrade rear axle (Has Discs)
Fancy looking trailing arms, one in need of Bushing, will poly all.
Diff protectors
Bucket seats, 4 point harness.
Snorkle , needs refitting
Full set breathers
Someone has spent time n money on it in the past, now my time.
lets hope i ain't bought a duffer.
got abt £1500 to spend, should i have bought summin else, NAH! it's what i wanted ( heart n head moment)
Hoping it will take minimum 33" tyres
Any members with history of this Rangey, or seen at Bures, feedback appreciated.
Be gentle with the negative comment, it's what it is, and it's mine.

its a tidy looking classic tbh i like the colour aswell. its sounds like you have a disco rear axle if its discs as the swap straight over as do most disco to rangey parts?(same chassis) its looks to be all there just needs time to put it right, good luck and keep us updated
regards
Nick

It's a common phrase here in NI when someone gets a new car!
It basically means "nice motor, hope you have a long and happy relationship with it"!

"upgrade rear axle (Has Discs)"
They always had disks
4 speed gearbox, awful hand brake, vacuum operated 4x4, manual steering, 4 pot front callipers, duel circuit brakes, Stromberg carbs with rubber diaphragms, solid rear trailing arms and so on. A list of good and bad things that got changed over the years, with some of the bad upgraded and some of the good downgraded
Had mine 20 years and had some fun with it
