Does anyone know what size the threads are for the cooler pipes coming out the side and bottom of the box?

I saw that and thought it was strange as it was in the torque convertor section.
Anyway, popped over to Hydraulic Tech Services where within 5 seconds the mystery was solved. They are 1/2" BSP, same as the cooler connectors.
The guy showed me an M18 fitting which was MASSIVE and totally different in that the interface was straight with an O ring to seal it.
So, heres the top outlet with a 90 1/2" BSP elbow on it... bottom fitting is the same as I now have it sealed off to stop any fibreglass dust getting!

Sorry about the duff info,
it was taken from Ashcrofts website ( in the section about upgrading to a stage 2 'box)
Interesting about it being 1/2bsp, I want to add a additional atf oil cooler , if its the same thread on rad that will make it a easy job with a couple of pipes to link it in .

I'm absolutely fairly sure they arn't 1/2" bsp
The adapters might finish in 1/2" bsp, but the thread in the ally casing is a lot smaller pipe size. I think a pipe nut for a 3/8" steel pipe?
But also the flow is small, so it wouldn't need to be that big a pipe. 1/2"bsp is what I have on my TypeR milemarker winch
It'll work fine though and glad you are fixed up

Our website is referring to the female threads in the pump body, not the male thread on the other end if the male to male nipple, of which there are 2 threads rover used, early is 1/2" BSP and then M20 x 1.5 was used,

I've got a headache now
The bit from Ashcrofts website;
There are 2 fitting implications of doing this, the unit is 15mm longer and the oil cooler nipples are M18 x 1.5 thread, on the early 22"s these threads are M16 X 1.5, the later 22"s like the TD5"s are already M18. This upgrade is an additional £ 500 on top of the normal rebuilt exchange price of £ 675 or £ 725, depending if the box is hydraulic or electronic. Note the Stage 2 upgrade can be specified to accept the medium and the large type converter. We are often unable to offer the medium converter option due to availability problems but if you are considering the stage 2 upgrade then you are likly to want the large converter anyway for the reasons below.
The bit that caught my eye was " oil cooler nipples"
It's been awhile but the last nipples I saw were sticking out!
Not sure how a nipple can be referred to as a female thread
Any thoughts ?
