Hi all,
I'm in the process of fitting an internal powered DAB aerial to my Disco 1.
The new aerial requires a physical connection to a metal body panel (via a self adhesive sticky tab) to act as the aerial. The only problem is - I can't work out where to put it.
I've had the trim panel off around the rear alpine windows and seat belt mount, and I can see the metal work, but I'd need to cut the rubber window seal to get it close enough to make contact (something that I don't really want to do).
The only other place is the windscreen, but the trim panels are really tight and there's not much metal to see to make contact with it.
Has anyone else had this problem, or any ideas on where I could mount it?
All ideas and suggestions gratefully received
Thanks
Eric

Are you sure? A self adhesive sticky pad won't make an electrical connection

Eric - what radio do you have and perhaps we can work out what you need to do.
I added a DAB recently to my 90 and all I did was stick the aerial on the windscreen and it works fine.
