Oh and before anyone starts with saying they dont like giving out lanes to new comers because not knowing anything about me, and that I should join a club and what have you. I have attempted to research green lanes, have printed out a copy of the green lane code, and I am a lover of the countryside and preserving it. I am also looking for any advice anyone can give me on joining a club that is local to rugby or at least based in warwickshire/northamptonshire. I studied a National Diploma In Agriculture at Moreton Morrell College, and I found it wrong when I was seeing some of my fellow students ripping up fields and lanes that weren't even public access, so I see exactly where these views are coming from. I purchased an SJ last friday and I'm not going to be putting massive tyres on, or silly extended shackles, I would like to keep it in a pretty standard condition as I really love the SJ. I'm 21 by the way.

The best way to get reliable information about green lanes locations and access rights, is by joining TrailWise which keeps an up tp date catalogue of rights of way (this is free of charge):
http://www.trailwise.org.uk/
TrailWise users needs to be a member of a parent organisation, such as for example the Green Lane Association:
http://www.glass-uk.org/
Green Lane Association membership fee is currently £30 per year (first year £33).
