Been out for a drive in my 94 sportrak today, never had any issues with it until today, changing gear the clutch pedal dropped to the floor with no resistance at all, dived under the bonnet to see if the cable had snapped to find it still sat where it should be, however the clutch arm on the gearbox was slack with no return pressure. Just flaps about. Am i right in thinking its the release bearing? Or pressure plate? The trucks covered 98k miles so could be due a clutch in it, however the biting point wasnt worryingly high. All info and advice welcomed, cheers! Rob

Oh and it wont select gears when clutch pedal is pressed

I would guess the pressure plate has failed if you've got a wobbly clutch arm.
