need a new starter on the derv,i been told its an awkward job.any of you more experienced guys found easy way before i tackle it 2moz.thanks

I tried to replace the starter on my mates terrano.Easy enough unbolting the starter from the bell housing and disconnecting the wiring.Trouble i had was getting it out from the engine bay wouldnt go past the chassis rail..

sorted it mate.not that hard really,i found doing alternator on a petty hardfer

yeah, take it to a garage
i have never had to much trouble with starter motors. useually fiddly bolts
