You could laith down a double cardon
Surf front prop but you'd need to make adaptor plates on both
Ends as the centring coller is smaller diameter than the daihatsu
One.

There more grip in the wet that you can use with the live axles.
Wink

The road noise is EPIC.

Everything is a compromise.

Started in earnest on the hydro assist steering today
Tapped the steering box as per
http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=10579.0
The box is almost identical

But remember they're lhd so it's all backwards.
(Well some of it)

Then had to make a bracket for the steering bar for the ram to attach.

And that's about as far as I've got.
More to follow.

I have but how strong do you need? And 80's come with lockers
I recon they'll hold up there designed to have lockers and be under
A 3.2t car I recon they'll
Manage a 1500kg trak

It's cause they're wider an have lockers.
Not Broken a hilux axle just have spaced too much so not ideal.
The front will have a three link +panad with16" air shocks
And the axle moved forward another 3-4" forward
The rear has enough movement as Is so will have the same setup
As now. For the time being at least.

Nowt's gonna happen soon though.
