H&S gone mad...
Apparently all electrical tools such as drills, angle grinders etc. must switch off if you lose control of them
Problem I've found is that the finger gets tired or the wrist starts aching and you are more likely to drop the machine on yourself which, of course, will do damage to you on it's spin down - the other thing is that it encourages bodged bypass of the switch as well
H&S man would have a fit if he saw me using my machines a-but as I don't employ anyone to use them... tough

I have a cheap one that i bought bout a year ago from B&Q, saw it in there the other day though. the switch pushs in a little bit which keeps it on. although it does click back off every now and then, but as i only use it every now and then its fine for me. I cant remember the make but it is the orange one!!

unplug it from the mains and switch the switch to on, use an extension so you can reach the grinder plug to unplug it from where you are sat. wrap a load of tape round the switch to keep in the on position, wear thick gloves goggles and earplugs.

So you can't hear yourself screaming as it burrows through your leg?

I recently bought a Bosch professional 115 mm and the switch does stay on but It will flick off if you even look at it the wrong way lol have to say it is annoying but safety first I suppose
